Do you want to create images that are rich in color and texture? ![]() Professional food photography is Alan De Herrera’s passion and expertise and he is currently in Maui shooting a Moorish Fusion Cuisine cookbook. During his food photography and styling workshop, he will teach you the fundamentals of food photography for all levels and will include exposure, lighting, food and prop styling and different composition techniques which will greatly advance your food photography. This is an excellent opportunity to learn from a professional commercial food photographer, as he shares his passion, technical expertise and experience photographing different types of foods. Topics to be discussed include: Lighting set-ups for studio and location shooting, camera and lighting equipment and post-production skills. Food Stylist Tamara L. Kaufman will show participants un-styled and styled foods as well as tools, tricks, and techniques used in food styling.
It is recommended that you bring your camera if possible. During the workshop, you will be able to photograph your work under the tutelage of both professionals while working with the cookbook's professional chefs, Zouhair Zairi and Tony Gordillo.
